Vidhya Bhavan Orphanage:
Vidya Bhavan is a Pro-life, Non-profit, Non-political, Humanitarian and Secular Development Organization Established on 22nd January 2018 in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. It has emerged in response to the qualitative need for the empowerment of the orphan, poor, needy and the abandoned section of the society. It is realized by its founding member Mr. Mohan Reddy N.(Bosco) and his friends. We had the opportunity to work with the amazing kids at Vidhya Bhavan and were successful in raising money to buy school supplies and STEM books for them in time for the forthcoming academic years. The kids were inspirational to meet. They were all committed to achieving their goals and everyone had their own desires. They were friendly to everyone and receptive to hearing people's stories. I'm happy I got the opportunity to make a difference in their lives.
Gerizim Organization
Gerizim Trust / Gerizim Rehabilitation Trust is more than 30 year-old Institution – founded in the year 1989 – in India. Although the main focus is on the mentally weak, Gerizim has stretched out to take care of the physically challenged & differently able people as well. Our principle is to maintain TRUTHFULNESS throughout the service. INTEGRITY is prioritized at every stage of working as far as possible. Our desire is to practice PATIENCE & never to compromise with evil in any form. Trying to be SINCERE & COMMITTED to the task entrusted. We partnered with the special school of Gerizim Organization in Bangalore, India, to provide supplies and food for their children. The Gerizim Organization Special School is home to their children. They take care of close to 40 students and help them with their needs. The organization does a wonderful job in keeping their students engaged at all times and ensuring that they learn something new everyday from their customized lesson. I got to experience what this classrooms looked like and the learning that happened in each of them. Each classroom was unique, it varied from sowing to learning a language and every student looked very happy to be there. I appreciate Gerizim Organization for their wonderful work providing their children with a home while also education them in various different fields.
